Author Interviews

I tried very hard to get my books published. I was  not having any money to pay towards the publishing charges. I tried to research all sources of publishers. I requested them. I convinced them. I got published my books at last. But, it took much time. But, ultimately I was successful. I was ready with my books content and book cover page.

Writing was always in my hands, becoming a published Author in 2019 was a wake up call knowing i did not want to die incomplete. I vowed to leave a legacy and the first stroke from my pen towards publishing my first book was one of the scariest thing but I knew it had to get done. i know develop a deep relationship in the author's world and I am here to stay. Thank you

I started out with e-publishers in the mid-2000s, but drifted to self-publishing when I realized that my vision for writing was growing beyond what they felt comfortable publishing. I also realized that I had more freedom with writing timelines and publicity if I self-published. I tried it with Move, Book One of The Tanger Falls Series, and that book outsold all of my other published novels at the time. To date, my self-published books still outsell the ones through publishers. 

My children loved Enid Blyton's Magic Faraway Tree and was one of the few stories that had to re-read; JK Rowling - Harry Potter series: JRR Tolkein - Lord of the Rings: Rupert the Bear stories in verse: CS Lewis - Chronicles of Narnia: Lewis Carrol - Aice in Wonderland. 

My first novel's manuscript was ready. I had dabbled in publishing before with non-fictional books and at the time I had approached traditional publishers and they told me that I need to have a public profile to back my writings. Therefore, at the time of the publication of the novel, I knew that I neither had the time nor the inclination to build a public profile. Hence, I went with self-publishing. 

I had a dream one night and wrote it down.  Eventually, I published it through KDP once I found out about them.

Well, I worked for a marketing company, so I was writing all the time. When I retired, I decided to start writing for myself.
