The Amazing Adventures of Jimmy Crikey

Join Jimmy Crikey on a quest that will take you beyond the stars and into the depths of courage. Jimmy is the orphaned alien who made his home on Earth after his Ambassador parents were overcome by Earth's diseases. 

The baby is left in the care of a surrogate ‘Aunt’ but as he grows up he is ridiculed by the neighbourhood children because he looks different. As a result, Jimmy runs away to escape the bullies and in his midnight flight he stumbles and falls into the magical underground world of Roombelow 

Jimmy rescues the town from the curse of a sleeping spell and is ‘adopted’ by Mr McDonald, the Mayor. Witch Matilda and Gemma, the little lady who lives at the bottom of the well, but doesn’t know how she got there, become Jimmy’s best friends. Witch Matilda is head of the four witch guardians of Earth’s realms.

Jimmy possesses no magic but he has a big heart full of courage and when Roombelow is in danger of flooding, Jimmy locates the sleeping Weather Wizard, Lord Oron, and turns off the torrent of rain. 

When the well in Roombelow dries up. Jimmy and Gemma find the cause and return a giant eel to its home in the sea.

Once settled in his new home, Jimmy returns to visit Aunt Ethel, and she explains that Jimmy is an orphan from the star world of Attalia. He could return to Atalia in the hidden starship, but chooses to stay with his new family of friends in Roombelow. 

Now the hero of Roombelow, Jimmy battles with Erg, the chief troll, and ends up in a cliff-side world where he discovers the Diamonites living in Lithnia, who look very much like Gemma. He takes Gemma to meet her family in Lithnia but she is kidnapped by the Traders. it needs the assistance of one Earth's Guardian Witches, Ira, before Jimmy sets sail on a rescue mission. 

Jimmy decides to visit his birthplace – the star world of Attalia. The hidden starship automatically heads homeward, but on the way, the starship is attacked and destroyed by enemy forces. The Attalian Rescuers pluck Jimmy to safety, and Commander Zaru befriends him. On Attalia, Jimmy discovers he has no living relatives, and President Alpha invites him to stay as his guest.

Kursh, the enemy of Attalia, attacks, and there follows a war waged with missiles, lasers and force fields. The Attalian forces succeed in thwarting the onslaught. To end the centuries-old war Jimmy plans the destruction of the time warp to close the portal between Ock and Attalia. Once continued peace is assured, Jimmy returns to his family of friends in Roombelow, where he is the honoured guest of Mayor McDonald. Now a hero with four witch friends, a mighty Weather Wizard, and Gemma the little lady from Lithnia. Jimmy has found his forever home.
