The Interview - D.M. Baird
https://publishingbrand.com/books/Which character do you enjoy writing the most as a writer and why? If choosing a favorite character is like choosing a favorite child, which character do you find requires the most attention and detail from you as a writer?
Captain Meri appears in the first three books of the Devil's realm series but Up from Ruin is his story. I love the evolution in his character, a second chance at love, finding his magic and his sarcastic dragon friend.
Can you explain your writing process? Do you prefer to create an outline and plan beforehand, or do you prefer to write more spontaneously and organically?
I sit down and write... just let the words flow uninterrupted. The go back and read. Sometimes I write out chapter titles as an outline, to keep the story moving forward
