Does your main character have any resemblence to you?

It wasn't planned but as I was writing, Abby Rose did take on some familiar things. For example, she held a career in marketing and I was in marketing for 30 years. She lives in a small town and I grew up in a small town in Arkansas. She has a close family and my family still lives close to one another in the same town we grew up in.

Do other characters take on similarities to locals or people you know?

The Leading Ladies, Abby's group of ride-or-die friends is loosely based on a group of ladies that i worked with in the community over a period of a decade.

What is the overall story about?

The day hot-headed Abby Carter’s heart returns to its normal rhythm when the Leading Ladies

Will there be more books based on these characters?

The plan is already in place for four books in this series based on this group of characters introduced that live in the small town of Logan's Creek.

How did you decide to write a book and when?

in 2016 I purchased an old used bookstore on Main Street in our town. It needed a total revitalization, much like our downtown area. My goals were to make it a place for young and old to visit, communicate and learn or read. My husband and I restored it, and added a barista bar which was a perfect companion to books.
