Tell us what you enjoy most about writing [genre].

Translating is like visiting another country without going through customs.  People can discover the wonder of life and intellectual growth through translated articles and books.   The ego must die for the self to be born and egocentricism must be superseded by universal consciousness.  I am when you are.  Without humility, there is no sense of wonder, said Soren Kierkegaard.

What have you found to be most challenging about writing in [genre]?

What is most challenging about translating is being just to the writer and the reader.  Kierkegaard said the teacher doesn't implant information but opens the reader to self-discovery and self-criticism.

Would you like readers to have any specific takeaway from your book?

Austrian, Swiss, Polish and German critical economists could help us see the traps and deceptions in trickle-down economic theory.   Conventional economists has no answer to exploding inequality and precarious work.   Michael Schwendinger's "Reduced Working Hours as a Socio-Economic Investment" explains how reduced work can improve long-term health, give us more time sovereignty and strength the rights of nature.

What are you reading right now?

I am reading Murray Bookchin's Natur und Bewusstsein (Nature and Consciousness), John Shelby Spong's "Sins of Scripture" and John Shelby Spong's "Biblical Literalism."

What can we anticipate from you moving forward?

440 translated articles on la.indymedia.org are now listed on www.freetranslations.site.   I hope to improve access and readability of

these articles and awakening more people to philosophy, existentialism, religion criticism and anti-authoritarianism.

How long did it take you to write this book?

It took me a full year to translate and edit "Alternative Economics: Reversing Stagnation."
