Foluke Michael

Foluke Michael is a Project Management Expert, SDGs Implementer, author, and IBM Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. She supports Entrepreneurs and Social innovators in Africa with the knowledge and skills to build sustainable businesses and create social impact projects.

Foluke is a creator of “Art for Social Good". She is a Project Management Expert, an Author, an IBM Enterprise Design Thinker and an SDGs Implementer. She graduated with an MSc in Project Management at the University of Salford, UK. BBA in Building a Tech Start-up at Nexford University and Design Thinking For Business Strategy And Entrepreneurship from The University of Sydney, Australia.

She is the CEO and Project Director of the Creative Youth Community Development Initiative, an organisation dedicated to the actualisation of the #2030Agenda for Sustainable Development

through four platforms: The Vision of the Child, Creative Youth Initiative Against Corruption, Solution17 for SDGs and Solution17 for Climate Action - The Green Entrepreneurs.

In 2018, Foluke won the United Nations SDG Award in the Innovator Category in Bonn, Germany and the University of Salford Alumni Achievement Award in recognition of her exceptional contribution to society. Her works have been published in the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Germany, India, Switzerland and the United States.

She created “Solution17 for Sustainable Development Goals” to help drive the actualisation of SDGs globally. Her projects have been published twice by the United Nations as GOOD practice, SUCCESS STORIES and INSPIRING BREAKTHROUGH, which can be replicated and scaled up to help galvanise the momentum for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.

Foluke was recognised as the Hero of Climate Action by the Most Influential People of African Descent in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In 2023, Foluke designed COP28 Art for Climate in partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi; the project is committed to driving climate action and collaborating on youth-focused initiatives for COP28 in the UAE. The project will accelerate the race to a better world, a zero-carbon and resilient World through Innovation, Start-up creation, Literary Art and Painting.

As a global changemaker and PM expert, Foluke is helping youth, women, and entrepreneurs achieve their goal of becoming the African with Solutions to Global Problems. She supports businesses, educational institutions, and the government in building green growth and sustainable development.

Her book The Green Entrepreneurs was published on Amazon and Audible in April 2021.
